Backlash PC: WWE, Eric Johnson

She is taking time off the in ring action after her neck surgery. She has not been seen in ring action after the WrestleMania 33. Ther is no clarity over her time of return to WWE.

Rusev is another superstar on blue brand who will miss Backlash 2017. In a video message, he has already asked for a title match on Money In the Banks. This clearly suggests that Rusev will remain out of action from the pay per view.

Though WWE is showing promos of Lana making a return to SmackDown Live. However, there is very little possibility of Lana’s inclusion at Backlash 2017. In women’s division, a Six Women Tag match has already been announced, and without a storyline, it will difficult to find any opponent for her.

Mojo Rawley:

Mojo Rawley sitting out of the pay per view is surprising. He built momentum after he won Andre The Gian Memorial match at WrestleMania 33. However, things went downhill ever since then.
