WrestleMania 36: Romen Reigns Pulls Out of Universal Title Match, He Decided to Pull Out of Match Against Goldberg, Strowman Is Possible Replacement
WWE WrestleMania 36 which is facing all sort of difficulties in going ahead now faced yet another jolt as their star performer Romen Reigns decided to pull out of his Match. Romen was set fight against Goldberg for WWE Universal Championship, however he decided to pull out. WrestleMania the biggest wrestling events already facing difficulty due COVID-19 pandemic this year it will be organized in empty arena. For the first time it will going to be a two nights affair.
According to the report in Pro Wrestling Sheet Romen Reigns will no longer be a part of WrestleMania 36.
“Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned Roman Reigns will not be part of the WWE Universal Championship match at WrestleMania 36 as planned. Sources with knowledge of the situation tell us Reigns expressed to WWE that he didn’t feel comfortable doing anymore of the Performance Center shows during the coronavirus pandemic because he’s immunocompromised from his battle with leukemia and didn’t want to risk his health. We’re told WWE honored his request and he will now be replaced by someone else in the match against Goldberg, though it’s unclear who at this time.” -Pro Wrestling Sheet
Romen Rigns cited health concern and pulled out of the match and WWE reportedly honored his request. He is not comfortable in performing amid COVID 19 and his compromised immune system due to fight with lukemia. Another WWE star who is having health concern is Miz, there is no update on his current condition, however, it is confirmed he is not well. WWE has already taken The Miz off the show. Dave Meltzer has reported that WWE is now looking to pit Braun Strowman as the replacement of Roman Reigns. Now Braun will fight Bill Goldberg for the WWE Universal Championship.
There are reports that several other superstars have shown their concern the names are not clear but their are some more superstars who will not be the part of WrestleMania 36. PWI insider Mike Johnson has reported the same things as he quoted apart from Vince McMahon nobody is comfortable with WrestleMania 36 going ahead as planned.
