When Sachin Tendulkar Mistook Sushant Singh Rajput for a Cricketer

The incidence took place in the year 2016 when Shushant Singh Rajput was preparing himself for the role of MS Dhoni. He was learning the aspects of the game under the guidance of former Chairman of Indian selector Kiran More. Sushant really put in lots of effort in his training and went to even learn the famous “Helicopter Shot” of MS Dhoni. The Little Master, Sachin Tendulkar saw Kiran More working with a young cricketer, however, he could not recognize the cricketer. Impressed by the work of the cricketer Sachin went on to ask More about the cricketer. Sachin Tendulkar went on to ask More for which team this cricketer plays for? Then Kiran More informed Sachin that He is Sushant Singh Rajput an actor working for MS Dhoni’s biopic.

That was a clear example of work ethics of Sushant Singh Rajput that even the Master Sachin Tendulkar mistook him for a real cricketer.  Sachin posted a heartfelt tweet on June 14 on the sad demise of the young actor.

“Shocked and sad to hear about the loss of Sushant Singh Rajput. Such a young and talented actor. My condolences to his family and friends. May his soul RIP” tweeted Sachin.

Sushant Singh will be remembered for his work in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. He started his film career with film Kai Po Che which was based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel Three Mistakes of My Life. MS Dhoni: The Untold Story gave him the real recognition and made him a household face. His last film “Chhichhore” was a commercial hit and made more than 100 crore. Ironically the film was based on fighting the depression and keep the never die attitude. However, in real the actor was reported to be taking treatment for depression from past six months and finally succumbed to it. There was no suicide note recovered, policy is still investigating any angle of conspiracy.
