Mumbai Indians to play Rising Pune Supergiant in Qualifier 1 of IPL 10

In the first play-off match of IPL 10 Mumbai Indians will play against Rising Pune Supergiant on 16th May at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Live streaming will be available on Sony Max, Sony ESPN, Sony ESPN HD, Sony Six, Sony Six HD, SonyLIV and Hotstar. UK viewers can watch IPL 10 live on SKY Sports. For USA viewers live streaming of IPL 10 will be available on ESPN & Willow TV. Match will start at 02:30 PM GMT / 08:00 PM LOCAL (IST).

Mumbai Indians in IPL 10

Mumbai Indians played superbly in IPL 10 and won 10 of the 14 matches they played. They ended the season with 20 points. Mumbai Indians has played as one unit this season. In regards to their batting except Nitish Rana none other batsmen have scored consistently. Skipper Rohit Sharma, Kieron Pollard, Parthiv Patel and Hardik Pandya have made valuable contributions for the team one or two times; however, they haven’t been able to do that consistently. In last league match Mumbai Indians made multiple changes and Ambati Rayudu and Saurabh Tiwary made that count. Team management would like all their batsmen to come good in the business end of the IPL 10.

In regards to bowling they have bowled superbly. Jasprit Bumrah, Mitchell McClenaghan and Harbhajan Singh have bowled well for the team. Lasith Malinga has been a bit off this season; however, others have taken the extra responsibility.

Rising Pune Supergiant in IPL 10

Rising Pune Supergiant ended the season at the second place on the points table winning 9 out of 14 matches they played. Rising Pune Supergiant have a great batting line up with Ajinkya Rahane, Faf du Plessis, Steve smith and young Indian talent Rahul Tripathi. Ajinkya Rahane hasn’t been able to get going for RPS and would like to ament that. Steve Smith has batted decently; however, he would like to spend more time on the crease. Young Indian talent Rahul Tripathi has been exceptional for them. In absence of Ben Stokes team management would want Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Manoj Tiwary to share the responsibility.

Rising Pune Supergiant’s bowling is a bit weaker then their opponents; however, their leading pace bowler Jaydev unadkat is among the leading wicket takers this season and in last few matches he has been bowled superbly. Adam Zampa, Daniel Christian, Rajat Bhatia and Shardul Thakur would need to step up for the team.
