Monday Night Raw Results; Ring Wrecking Performance of Braun Strowman  Big Show As Raw Prepares for Payback.

Payback 2017 is just a few weeks away and things have already started getting heated up. As expected Monday Night Raw was full of action post superstar shake-up. Let’s take a quick look at some of the high points of the longest running weekly episodic program.

Monster Braun Demands More Competition:

Braun Strowman Came on Raw demanding more competition. The GM Kurt Angle did show up and he announced a match between Braun & Roman Reigns at Payback. But the monster was not done, as he quoted “Give Me More Competiton or Eles.”

Samoa Joe def. Chris Jericho:

Weeks before their matches on Raw Pay Per View Payback, Samoa Joe and Chris Jericho were in action. Jericho who was looking to gain some momentum before his US title match aginst Kevin Owens faced Samoa Joe.

In a back and forth match it was Samoa Joe who came out victorious, as Coquina Clutch prevailed over Walls of Jericho.

Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson def. Enzo Amore & Big Cass

It was a setback as new team sensation of Raw The Revival couldn’t be involved in action due to injury. The former tag champ Carl Anderson and Luke Gallows took the opportunity. It was a strategic classic tag team play was on offer as they faced Big Cass & Enzo Amore.

TJ Perkins def. Gentleman Jack Gallagher

The extraordinary gentleman Jack Gallagher took on TJ Perkins. TJ Perkins who is at the moment in a bit of mean streak finished off Jack with Detonation Kick after kicking the second rope into the eyes of Jack Gallagher.

Alexa Bliss def. Sasha Banks, Nia Jax and Mickie James to become No. 1 contender to the Raw Women’s Championship

The former women’s champion and Raw new acquisition Alexa Bliss immediately put herself on notice as she won herself a title shot. Alexa Bliss on Monday Night Raw defeated Nia Jax, Mickie James and Sasha Banks to become number contender. In a street, smart show Bliss picked up her moment as she covered Sasha Banks after who was stunned by Samoan Drop from Nia Jax.

Finn Bálor def. Curt Hawkins:

The change of brand worked for Alexa, however, it did not work for Curt Hawkins as he was defeated by Finn Balor in a one on one match.

Jeff Hardy def. Cesaro

Before their Payback match for the tag team championship. The charismatic enigma Jeff Hardy and Swiss Superman Cesaro were in one on one action. Both the stars were evenly matched, it took a twist of fate followed by Swanton Bomb to keep Swiss Superman down for three counts.

Big Show vs. Braun Strowman ended in a No Contest:

Braun Storwman asked for more competition and Big Show picked up the challenge. As he dared the monster to pick up someone of his own size. In an intensely fought battle, the giant athletes went toe to toe. IT was an amazing show of power and grit where both these giants refused to stay down.

The choke slam, power slam, knockout punch every finishing move was kicked out. Nothing seemed to be enough nobody was giving it up, however, finally, the ring gave up when Braun super flexed Show from the top rope. The collapsed and the match ended in no contest.
