FIFA U-17 Football World CUP: Bollywood Star Hrithik Roshan Joins Promotions of U-17 World Cup Accompanied by Former Indian Captain Baichung Bhutia
Actor Hrithik Roshan and co-owner of FC Pune City said that it will be a great moment for India to host Under-17 Football World CUP in Oct 2017.
The actor also attended the Mission XI Million Program in Ahmadabad.

Mission 11 Million for FIFA U17 Football World Cup:
The aim of this mission is to reach 11 million kids before October 6th, 2017. With the mission, XI million objective is to spread awareness of this game so that maximum kids can take part. Kids can register themselves for this game through registration Portal. This Portal is accessible across the World. If NRI Kids wants to take part and they have a valid passport they can apply for this game.
Hrithik also interacted with 6000 kids. The mission 11 million is hosted by the AIFF and Government of India and these kids are part of it.
Hrithik Roshan expressed his belief, “I am delighted to be here for the Mission XI Million festival. To reach out to 11 million children is ambitious, which is what makes this wonderful initiative even more brilliant. With the FIFA U-17 World Cup also happening this year, I think this year could really be a watershed moment in Indian sports and football”
Former Indian football captain Bhaichung Bhutia was also there when Hrithik Roshan attended this mission. All kids got the chance to meet actor and the former captain.
President AIFF and Chairman of the LOC for the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017, Praful Patel said, “Mission XI Million has managed to take the game out to the masses of the country. While it’s very heartening to see them embrace the game, it also bestows additional responsibility upon us to develop the game further”.
Volunteer Support For FIFA U17 Football World Cup:
One of those thousands of Indians who applied for U-17 World Cup Vikas is one of them. He is a senior category manager working in Bangalore. He also went to Brazil as a volunteer in 2014. Now, he has applied for U-17 as a volunteer. He was very excited to be the part of this game.
He said, “Being part of the biggest event in the world is an excellent experience,” Vikas said. “I got to meet volunteers from many different countries and of course Brazil too. Even had the opportunity to train international volunteers after my own training. I learned how FIFA and the LOC plans and executes everything so precisely. They go into the minutest details of everything. Also, the volunteer uniforms were such a treat.”
