F1 ImolaGP 2021 Qualifying Race Results. Lewis Hamilton To Start From Pole As Perez Outpaced Verstappen In Qualifying

It was an interesting qualifying session as Sir Lewis Hamilton puts yet another clinical performance to bring out his 99th career pole. However, Sergio Perez sprung in a surprise as outpaced Max Verstappen to take a front row start. Max will definitely feel some pressure after being outpaced by his own teammate, going to very interesting on Sunday, as two Red Bull will try to hunt down the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton.

Lewis Hamilton bring out the best in and took the Pole position in Imola with a lap time of 1:14.411, however, his challenger will be Sergio Perez who followed him with a gap of 0.035 seconds Verstappen remained third with a gap of 0.087 seconds.

Lando Norris who was on flying lap that put him on the front row had his time deleted for exceeding track limit. He will start from 7th position on Sunday.

Around 4 minutes remaining and Mercedes is sitting comfortable on the top with Bottas 1:14.675 followed by Hamilton, Norris and Verstappen.

What a strong run by Valtteri Bottas as he shot himself up with a timing of 01:14.926 which better than even Red Bull, he is followed by Norris with a gap of 0.083 seconds.

Serigo Perez on the soft compound tyre and now posted a timing of 1:15.744 but soon got relegated as Verstappen clocked 1.15.109

Cars are out again in action with only 11 minutes remaining in the Q1

Lance Stroll is currently leading the pack with timing of 1:16.082

The Qualifying Race session will resume in just 1 minute.

Red Flag due to Yuki Tsunoda incident.

Yuki Tsunoda qualifying ended after he took the spin early in the same and car has taken serious damage, as they confirmed over the radio Yuki is okay but the car is not.

Mick Schumacher posted 1:16.805 and currently leading, he is followed by Mazepin with 1:17.806
