Australia tour of India for limited overs Cricket started today. Aussies will play 5 one day internationals and 3 T20s. Australian Cricket team played 4 test matches earlier this year with the hosts. India won that series by 2-1.
First one day international between India and Australia will be played on 17th September, Sunday. The venue for the first match is MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Match will start at 1:30 PM IST (08:00 AM GMT). Second match will played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on 21st Sep, Thursday. Both the teams will fly to Indore for the third match which will be played at Holkar Cricket Stadium. The third match will be played on 24th Sep, Sunday.
M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru will host both the teams for the Fourth one day international on 28th Sep, Thursday. Both the team will meet at Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground, Nagpur for the fifth one day international. The last match will be played on 1st October, Sunday. All of the matches will start at 1:30 PM IST (08:00 AM GMT).
After the completion of the one day series both teams will rest for 5 days before fighting it out for a three T20 matches series. Former skipper MS Dhoni’s home ground JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi will host both the teams for first T20 international on 7th October, Saturday. Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati will be hosting both the teams for the second T20 international on 10th October, Tuesday.
Third and last T20 international between both the teams will be played on 13th October, Friday at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. All the three T20 internationals will start at 7:00 PM IST (01:30 PM GMT).
Fans will be able to watch the passionate Cricket between both the teams on Star Network as they have the rights for India’s home matches. Live streaming will be available on Hotstar.
In the practice match Australia defeated IBPXI by 103 runs as Australia scored 347-7. IBPXI could only manage 244 as they were all out in 48.2 overs.
