After Djokovic Now His Coach Goran Ivanisevic Tested Positive for Corona: Adria Tour Covid Controversy Seems To Have No End
Goran Ivanisevic has become the latest victim of corona virus. The coach of world No.1 tennis player Novak Djokovic has been tested positive for COVID 19. Earlier Nova Djokovic and his wife Jelena was tested positive for Covid 19. Just like his Djokovic, Ivanisevic was also asymptomatic and did not show any sign and symptoms. He announced about his test result on his Instagram official account.

Adria Tour Covid Controversy:
Adria tour which has been organized by world no.1 Novak Djokovic for charity purpose came under heavy criticism as number of players tested positive. Novak Djokovic, Grigor Dimitrov, Borna Coric and Viktor Troicki are the other players who were tested positive. The tournament was called off by the organizers due epidemiological situation that occurred. Goran Ivanisevic who earlier defended the Serb in statement to New York Times
“Everybody is smart now, and they are attacking Novak,”.
“We were locked down for three months. He organised this tour. The players came in Belgrade and we had good tennis and a good atmosphere. Everything in Serbia and everything in Croatia was done with the recommendations by the government.”

Nažalost, nakon dva negativna testa u posljednjih 10 dana, upravo sam saznao rezultate današnjeg, trećeg testa i on je pozitivan na Covid-19. Osjećam se dobro i nemam nikakvih simptoma. Želim obavijestiti sve koji su bili u kontaktu sa mnom na činjenicu da sam Covid-pozitivan i zamoliti ih da poduzmu sve potrebne korake da zaštite sebe i svoje bližnje. Goran Ivanisevic Statement:
In his statement on his Instagram official account, Ivanisevic informed that he has been tested positive after two negative results in 10 days. He urged people who came in his contact to take extra care and announce that he will go in self-isolation. Here is his statement.
“Unfortunately … I have just found out that I tested positive to Covid-19,” Ivanisevic said on Instagram.
“I feel good and I don’t have any symptoms,” the 48-year-old Croat said and asked everyone who has been in close contact with him to take good care of themselves and their loved ones.
“I will continue to self-isolate,” said Ivanisevic, adding that he had tested negative twice in the past 10 days.”
Ivanisevic is former Wimbledon champion, he won the title in year 2001 and currently coaching the world no.1 Novak Djokovic.
