The Viper, Randy  Orton, will face No.1 contender Jinder Mahal. Mahal is stalking Randy from quite some time. He stole Randy’s Championship and even cost him the first ever House of Horrors match at Payback 2017.

Mahal in a major turn of events won himself an opportunity for WWE title at Backlash 2017, He won the Sixpack challenge by Sami Zayn. So, far Jinder is able to keep the momentum going with the help of Singh Brothers. It will be interesting to see, however, The Viper will respond. The Apex predator will definitely to make a statement at Backlash after his loss at Payback.

The Usos vs. Breezango:

Breezange will have their job cut out as reigning WWE tag team champion Usos are looking in fine form. They are looking well coordinated and ultra aggressive. It will interesting to see how fashion police will come over the challenge at Backlash.

United States Champion Kevin Owens vs. AJ Styles:

Kevin Owens regained his US Championship title by defeating Jericho in a rematch of Payback at SmackDown Live. This means it is Kevin Owens who will defend his title against AJ Styles at Backlash.

Jericho who lost the title to KO at Wrestlemania 33, regained the title at Payback 2017, however, KO got it back by defeating him on May 02 edition of SmackDown Live.

AJ Styles made his way to Backlash 2017 by defeating Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin in a triple threat match. The Phenomenal One is arguably one the best talents that SmackDown Live has on the roster.
