This month NASCAR will return to its most celebrated track: Bristol Motor Speedway. Bristol Motor Speedway is one of the most popular tracks on NASCAR. With capacity of 162,000 Bristol is one of the loudest track of NASCAR. With its all concrete surface and steep banking the Bristol track has its share of love and hate from drivers.
Bristol Motor Speedway will host Food City 500 on 23rd April where Denny Hamlin, Ricky Stenhouse Jr, Jamie McMurray and Austin Dillon will compete with other drivers to win the race. Food City 500 is a 500 lap, 266.5 mile race.
On Friday, April 21 there will be Cup Series practice, FS1 starting from 11:30 a.m.-12:55 p.m. After that there will be Xfinity Series practice, FS1 starting from 1-1:55 p.m. Xfinity Series final practice, FS1 will be helld between 3:30-4:25 p.m. the same day. The Cup Series qualifying, FS1 will start at 4:45 p.m.
On Saturday, April 22 there will be Cup Series practice, FS1 in the morning 8:30-9:25 a.m. Xfinity Series qualifying, FS1 will start at 9:35 a.m. Cup Series final practice, FS1 will be held between 11-11:55 a.m. Xfinity Series Fitzgerald Glider Kits 300 (300 laps, 159.9 miles), FS1 will start at 1 p.m.
