The Odds for Both India & West Indies

After first match being washed out by rain, Indian dominated the series in second and third ODI. They were looking well and truly on the charge to win the series in 4th ODI as they restricted Windies under 200. Very few cricket experts expected Jason Holder’s led side to offer some resistance. But the Caribbean fought back brilliantly to defend the small total and kept the series alive, beating India by 11 runs.

West Indies will go in the 5th match, high on the confidence they will now have the belief that they can put breaks on the mighty Indian batting line-up. However, batting remains their department of worry, even in the fourth ODI lots of their batsman got start but then threw it away after getting settled. India on the other hand, also got batting woes, once the top three don’t score, the remaining struggle. Same thing happened in ICC champions trophy final. The middle order has to perform yet, there is so much dependence on the top three. The loss in fourth ODI came up as a wake-up call as India time and again has shown the tendency of being complacent.

Grea up for the final ODI, whether it will be India who will clinch the series or be it the Caribbean who will level the series.
